Encouraging Seniors to Accept Help: A Gentle Approach
As our loved ones age, their desire to maintain independence while living at home can often conflict with the realities of increasing health and mobility challenges. Encouraging a senior family member or friend to accept help at home can be challenging, but essential for their well- being and safety.

Beyond Labels: Embracing the Essence of 'Living at Home' in Later Years
I am going to say something controversial. I do not like the saying “Aging in place”. Now, I absolutely believe that everyone should stay in the home they are comfortable in as they age, but for some reason that saying rubs me the wrong way. What about all the living, visiting with loved ones and celebrating holidays.

Bringing Services to Your Doorstep: Enhancing Homebound Life
Have you recently been through an injury or illness and feeling home-bound? It can get pretty depressing looking at the same four walls and trying to fill the time. Sometimes just a few days, a few weeks, or sometimes a few months. It is important to have things to look forward to and be held accountable for in your recovery process. Take Half A Day to Save Your Family Weeks of Work
In todays culture, we rarely want to think about or even talk about death. What an odd thing, considering we will all go through it. Thinking About a Senior Care Facility?
There are many considerations when choosing a care home for yourself or a loved one. And most likely you are already over burdened. Our current culture and standards of living often do not leave extra time and resources to quickly take on what is often another part-time or full-time job caring for an elderly relative. And researching these homes can seem daunting, not knowing what to ask or look for in a good quality care home. I have compiled a few considerations and approaches to make the task easier.

Personal Commitment in Care
When I am welcomed into a home to discuss senior care, I realize that I could be the third or fourth person you have welcomed, given your family story to and asked the same questions to find out if I am the right fit. It can be time consuming and exhausting! I have found the most effective way is not for you to find the best company, but for me to find and train the best caregiver for you.
