Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't see your question on this page, drop us a note and we'd be happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have.

Q: Will there be rotating staff?

A: No. PHC partners you with one care aide that fits your needs and lifestyle. On the occasion that your care aide is away, for personal reasons or due to illness, Maureen Landucci will fill in for them.

Q: Do I need to commit to specific hours or days of the week?

A: Yes, we require a minimum of three (3) hours on specific days of the week. This will allow us to provide you with the same care aide and great service, and they can rely on a regular schedule. We can make custom plans with communities and senior living residents. We can always adapt to new injuries and illnesses when hired, it may be difficult to know what your needs are and how they will change in the beginning. Rest assured we will support and journey through this with you.

Q: Can I change the hours and days to more or less care if our needs change?

A: Absolutely! As long as the minimum hours are met, our team will work with you as your needs change. We can accommodate different levels of care as needed.

Q: I or a family member want to remain at home but I am unsure about safety. What should I do?

A: Let’s talk! I am a firm believer that seniors can stay in their homes in a safe and healthy environment. With a few small changes, we can get your there! I am also happy to advocate for you if you want to discuss this with family or the healthcare system.

Q: I don’t need 3 hours of care work. What can they do?

A: There are many advantages of having someone longer than physical care is needed. Most clients find joy in playing games or having someone read to them. Then adding in some light housework or errands that need done. Need help putting up Christmas decorations? Baking a cake? Our care aides have many unique skills to support you and your loved ones.

Q: What if I need help or questions answered after hours?

A: You can call Maureen Landucci anytime, 24 hours a day, for assistance.

Q: Why should I hire PHC?

A: Our care aides are vetted and trained like no other company around. We have an eight step interview and hiring process. Our care aides have extensive background and screening checks for the vulnerable population. They are also familiar with unique security and confidentiality protocols. PHC is also insured for your protection. While other companies rarely keep their promise to send the same care aide, we guarantee it. It is our business model to ensure your stability and the highest level of care.
